Thanks and I'm glad you found it helpful. It does have a very intuitive interface compared to others.

Participation definitely increased through the use of Edmodo and missing work has become a thing of the past for the most part. These things, in my opinion, has increased academic achievement. I do not however have any formal assessment to support this though.

I like the idea of being able to blog, interact via social networking, upload videos, and have RSS feeds all utilizing the same website. It is clear that your students enjoyed the new use of technology. How did it affect their academic achievement? Today, everything is data driven. Did Edmodo help increase academic achievement?

Excellent share, Thomas. It was among one of several factors -- including a Twitter shout-out for sane alternatives to the insane Blackboard 9.1, which led to you and others voting Edmodo -- that prompted me to migrate to Edmodo tonight. Didn't take long to figure out at all, and feels so intuitive compared to that high-priced piece of garbage called Blackboard.

Thanks for the share.
