Top 10 embeddable resources for Teachers
Today I was thinking about what were the top 10 social media sites teachers were using. Then it hit me that I could just analyze the Edmodo database and see what sites are most popular among our users. So here you have it, the top 10 embeddable resources that teachers are using on Edmodo.
- Youtube
- Glogster
- Animoto
- Google Spreadsheets
- Wallwisher
- Slideshare
- Classtools.net
- Prezi
- Google Docs
- Schooltube
- Voicethread
So now you must be thinking that I do not know how to count? I assure you I know how to count. I just feel I have an obligation to insert a spinal tap joke whenever I can
”Why does our list go to 11? Because it’s one better than 10.”
If you have any favorite embeddable resources not listed, feel free to share them in the comments with the rest of the Edmodo community.
ISTE Highlights
ISTE 2010 was an amazing experience and we are sad that it had to end. The Edmodo team had so many great conversations with educators who flocked to Denver from all over the world.
EduBloggerCon
We had the chance to attend EduBloggerCon on Saturday and had the pleasure to listen to educators speak and share their excitement around Web 2.0 and mobile devices in education.
Edmodo Booth in the Exhibit Hall
The Edmodo booth was a constant stream of people consisting of educators looking to learn more about Edmodo and existing users just wanting to say “hi”. The Edmodo t-shirts were a big hit! We ran out 2 hours into day one of the exhibit hall and had to overnight more shirts for the rest of the conference. Thanks everyone for visiting our booth at the ISTE conference this week and joining our iPod Touch giveaway group. Mike Glennon and Sarah Stewart were the lucky winners!
Edmodo Party at Rock Bottom Brewery on Tuesday Evening
“Wow” just about sums up in one word the Edmodo party we had at Rock Bottom Brewery. We can’t believe how many of you came out to support and hang out with the Edmodo team. We did an iPad giveaway and the lucky winner was Mike Simpson, an Assistant Superintendent at Ponca City Public Schools in Oklahoma.
ISTE was an amazing conference and Edmodo will definitely be back in 2011. Thank you to everyone that helped make ISTE 2010 a success for Edmodo. See you all next year!!!!
