There has been a lot of Twitter chatter lately from teachers who have discovered the value of Edmodo and are looking for advice on how to convince Administrators of the benefits of integrating social networking tools into the classroom and on how to get other teachers in their school involved in Edmodo.

Some great ideas are being passed around  (my current personal favorite: a teacher who says she simply sits in staff meetings and frequently mutters ”that wouldn’t be a problem with Edmodo….”.  Love it.)

Following are a few simple ideas that work:

The Edmodo Video: This two minute animated video on the Edmodo home page(also available on YouTube) provides a clear overview of what Edmodo is all about – and may serve as a good starting point for the conversation.

Introductory Webinars: Each Tuesday and Thursday (except for US Thanksgiving) we host introductory webinars to help get teachers up and running.  Come participate, and bring a teacher friends along.  Register now for one of our upcoming events:
