New Feature: Real time Community updates

One for the first, and most frequent, ways that educators are using Edmodo is to connect, network, and share ideas with other educators.  To facilitate this activity, we’ve enhanced the site so that posts to the Communities you’ve joined now appear in the Everything stream.

For most of you, this is a great way to stay connected with your peers; however, we also recognize that you may not require real time updates from every Community you have joined.  As such, you can easily “Hide” posts from individual Communities or groups from appearing in your stream simply by hovering your cursor to the right of the post and clicking on the X.  You’ll still be a member of that group or Community — you just won’t see the regular updates in the Everything stream.
