Was there change made to attachments of files or links in posted comments to graded assignments? They no longer show up on the teacher end – only on the student end. For example, a teacher receives a word doc from a student through the assignment feature. The teacher opens the doc, comments on the doc, saves it, then attaches it to a comment when grading. When this comment is posted, the teacher can only see the comment, not the attachment. So they will not be able to verify that they did indeed attach the file. However, the student can see the attachment.
Thanks Liz — we looked into this issue and are resolving it. I’ll be in touch as soon as the update is made:)
Hi Liz: Your issue should be resolved — can you email me at betsy@edmodo.com if you are still seeing the issue? Thanks!
Hi Betsy –
Thanks!!! Yes – we see the attachments now! Thanks so much for the fix.
Thank you for the relatively quick turnaround time.
If there are new features or enhancements, we would love to know what they are. If there any persistent bugs, we would like to work around them too.
See the new blog post with updates on the enhancements. no persistent bugs that we know of – just a few isolated issues that we unfortunately needed to resolve this morning. Thanks for your feedback!
I love the site – such an amazing classroom tool. However, I am worried there may be some sort of a virus attached to the mobile phone messaging input function.
However, I do have one huge concern – one of my students signed up to receive text messaging updates for our site. She was sent the initial message to her phone with the passcode. Another message – also supposedly from edmodo – piggy-backed on this activation code with EXTREMELY rude language. Is this a virus? Can this be tracked down? It arrived to her phone via Edmodo. I am nervous to trust edmodo – has this happened before?
I read the join a community thing and I want to join the world languages, but theres no “join community” link or button, so how do you do it?
