I first heard of Flat Classroom when I visited my niece in Geneva, Illinois last October and found that her son was absorbed in and most excited about the Flat Classroom project. Since then I have wanted to have my class to become a part of this global learning community.
This journey will be a challenge for me inasmuch as I am an immigrant to the world of technology and not as tech savvy as I wish. I have, however, surrounded myself with tech savvy people who are on board to make this experience an overwhelming success. My teaching partner, Amanda Beaty, is on board. The tech teacher across the hall, the county technology facilitator, and the principal are all by my side cheering the class and me on to success. These Belmont students and parents will savor every part of the program. Wish me luck!
I believe we all share the sentiment of someone on the initial meeting. We all have Goosebumps!

OMG, here are our school we have been looking for a way to have an online class for both our 3rd grade classes and edmoto is simply wonderful. We have just started using it and our students and teachers love it. I teach at a Hawaiian Immersion School in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. And using edmoto we are able to create an "online class" by using the Hawaiian language and it is easy to use and the kids really enjoy this medium of learning. Thank you!
