VocabularySpellingCity Comes to Edmodo

We are pleased to welcome VocabularySpellingCity as the newest Edmodo Community.

For those of you not familiar, the site automates the study of word lists for spelling and vocabulary. You can enter any list and VocabSpellingCity.com provides the sentences and definitions for the 20 different learning activities, including a WordSeach, HangMouse (think hangman), WordUnScramble, SpellingTest, VocabularyTest, WhichWord, MatchIt, Alphabetize, SpeedySpeller, Word-O-Rama, digital and printable flashcards, and more.  Many teachers also use the site as a way to generate printables, since all of the games can also be delivered as printable worksheets.

And now, select content is available to you directly from within Edmodo. Many of the activities have been embedded in the Edmodo community, including MatchIt games in which students have to distinguish between sound-alikes such as (from their 5th grade list: accept, except; marry, merry; meet, meat; knot, not; etc).
