Add and Share Content With The Edmodo Bookmarklet

Up until now, you had to be within Edmodo to add something to your library. This meant that you had to copy and paste the URL to a great resource into the Edmodo post bubble, or directly into your library, to share it with your students or colleagues.
Not anymore.
If you want to add something to your Edmodo library or share a resource with your connections, you can use the Edmodo Bookmarklet.
To make use of this bookmarklet, please drag the following link to your bookmarks bar (or you can right click and bookmark it if you like). Add to Edmodo
Once you have the bookmarklet, you can simply click on it to bring up a sharing screen (or a login screen if you aren’t currently logged into Edmodo). From this sharing screen you will be able to choose which folders to put the resource within, and whether or not you want this resource to be shared with your Edmodo connections. It’s that simple.
Happy Sharing!

I think supplimental is supplemental unless there’s a meaning I don’t know.
I have bookmark but I can’t get it to work. Tried in Explorer and also tried Chrome Extension in Chrome. Would love ot have it working – any advice welcome.
Chrome has a bookmark tool bar. Drag the blue link “Add to Edmodo” to the bookmark bar in Chrome. (The link is up there in the directions.) Create a folder in your library in which to put your bookmarks. When you want to bookmark a page, click the created bookmark on your tool bar (you get one when you drag it up there). A popup comes up. You login to Edmodo, select the folder in your library, and choose to share or not. It’s that easy!
Has anyone been able to get this to work on Safari? If so, could you possibly tell me what i am doing wrong. I’ve placed the link in my tool bar, but it does nothing when I click on it.
i dont even no how to get bookmark into the library!
Please see my directions below. To add a folder in your library (if you do not know how to do that— before following the directions below)
1. Go to your library in Edmodo by clicking the word “Library” at the top.
2. Next to the word “Folders” you will see a yellow folder and the blue word “New”. Click “New”.
3. Name your folder.
4. Click “Create”.
You now have folders in your library. You can create folders for classes, chapters, etc. Put your created assignments in your folders in the library, and your work is done for you next time.
This is very attention-grabbing, You’re an overly professional blogger. I have joined your rss feed and stay up for seeking more of your great post. Also, I have shared your site in my social networks

How to get it working:
Chrome has a bookmark bar. Drag the blue link above to the bar. When you want to bookmark a site to your library, click it! I suggest you add a folder in your library in which to put your bookmarks. Then later you can move them other folders.
If you do not know how to see the bookmark bar, IN CHROME:
1. Click the wrench on the right.
2. Go to bookmarks & a list will come up
3. Select “Show bookmarks bar”
4. Then drag the blue link above to the bar. That’s it!
It does not work for all websites, I tried a page that was an image of an email attachment, and I tried a page of an image in evernote, it did not save to library…the window did not open
