Teacher rollout resources are now available in the Help Center! These new resources were created to make your Edmodo rollout easier by providing a sample template for getting your students (and parents) started with Edmodo. The content consists of materials created by the Edmodo team as well as a selection of materials created by educators and shared in the Edmodo communities. The new resources include:
- Sample Code of Conduct – A sample set of rules students should abide by before they begin using Edmodo.
- Sample Edmodo Guidelines- A sample set of guidelines to set for your students.
- Introduction to Edmodo- A sample letter informing parents that you will be using Edmodo in the classroom.
- Invitation to Edmodo- A sample letter inviting parents to set up a parent account on Edmodo.
- Parent Guide to Edmodo (for parents)- A guide that explains the features of Edmodo parent accounts.
- Student Guide to Edmodo (for students)- A guide that explains the features of Edmodo student accounts.
- How to set up an Edmodo Student Account- A video that shows students how to set up their Edmodo account.
Thanks to our newest team member, Liz Doogan, for encouraging us to put together these materials for our educator community. If you have any other suggestions for materials you’d like to see added, or if you have content you think would be a valuable addition, please let us know.

Hi this is a great blog for Edmodo.
Can multiple students login to edmodo on the same device using their login information? We are buying class sets of mobile learning devices and multiple students will be using the devices therefore each person will need to login using their own info.
Yes, the students will be able to login through the Edmodo app. When they are done, they will need to log out and then a new student can log in with their credentials.
is there a way to have a separate blog for a class group? My students have been blogging, but they have been adding replies to our HOME page and I’d like the blog to be separate.
You can either create another group for the blog, or create a sub group from the main group.
Is there a way to start real-time chats in Edmodo?
My students wonder that as well.
I joined Edmodo today after hearing about the website at the National Middle School conference. I am excited to use the website and share it with my students and parents. I found the ‘rollout resources’ to be very helpful in my understanding of the website and how it works. Thanks!!
Is there a function that will allow me to e-mail an invitation to another teacher? I think this would be helpful in getting other teachers to join the site.
