Is there a list of subdomains and how can you check to see if your school/system has one?

Nicole,
We recently ran into this answer on why. Through the subdomain a district admin/school admin can verify teachers and students for that school. On general Edmodo, almost anyone can sign up and be "a teacher", but in the subdomain all teachers are verified. My guess would also be that there will be enhanced features in the future for districts, but this step is crucial.

I know that logging into your subdomain is a best practice, and I know that it should improve security, but I am not quite sure why. Can anyone help me understand why it is best practice to log in with your subdomain and how it increases security. I am doing a training on Wednesday and I want to be able to explain this best practice. Thanks in advance!
