As technology becomes more of an integral part of our society, it’s important to help students understand appropriate use of social media tools and other digital citizenship skills. Edmodo offers various resources to help you get started, including security best practices, sample guidelines and a sample code of conduct for your students.
To help you relay the importance of digital citizenship, we’ve also created a Best Practices for Digital Citizenship poster which you can print and display in your classroom, or share with your students.

Thanks for the simple, but accurate poster. I would also appreciate having it with a white background so I could print it using less ink. Thanks again!
thanks Carol – we’re working on that — should be available this week:)
I used a filter in Photoshop to create the pdf in Black and White for our printing. Happy to share if you have the need.
I would love to have a copy!
Hi, Brian,
Did you share the B/W poster somewhere? Would love to be able to share that with teachers along with the green one.
Thanks,
Katie
Did they come out with the white poster?
I FOUND IT!
Where did you find the white poster?
A white background will do wonders! Thanks! Excellent poster! I posted one inside the class room and another one on the entrance door. Have a great week!

Estoy de acuerdo con mis colegas fondo blanco por el tema de la tinta, y si fuera posible en hoja A4 u oficio. Gracias!!
Hola gracias el blance mi grasias!
I recently had a student post an inappropriate video using our GoAnimate App. He’s a good student who was trying to be funny, but it was very inappropriate. It violated our school’s Edmodo code of conduct and his digital citizenship contract. I contacted them via edmodo@goanimate.com. Within 24 hours, they had contacted me by email twice and left me a voice mail. They have the capabilities to save the video to a different URL address (for documentation purposes if you choose) and remove the original URL address/link to redirect the user to a blank page. It cannot thank them enough for acting as quickly as they did. Their customer service is FIVE star!
I also would like to have a poster with a white background and it would be super to have it in Word so that we would have the opportunity of adding information, when necessary. Also, when you have the Spanish version, could you please post it? This is fantastic. Thank you so much!
Absolutely love this poster. Thanks you for the link.
