New Enterprise Associates, Inc. Joins the Edmodo Team

Last December we welcomed Greylock Partners and Benchmark Capital to the Edmodo team and today we’re excited to announce the newest addition to our team, New Enterprise Associates, Inc. (NEA).

NEA General Partner, Tony Florence joins the Edmodo board at an exciting time. We continue to build on our long term goal of improving content discovery and delivery, allowing educators to customize the classroom for each and every learner. With the support of NEA, Greylock Partners, Benchmark Capital, Union Square Ventures and Learn Capital, we plan to expand our product team to accelerate development and continue to deliver value to our growing community of educators. And as always, Edmodo will remain free for all teachers and students.

A big thanks to our amazing educators, partners, employees and investors for their continued support and dedication. We have lots of great plans on the horizon and we’re looking forward to an exciting 2012-2013 school year!
