SXSWedu is currently accepting speaking proposals! This four day conference brings together education professionals, industry leaders, and policy practitioners committed to engaging all learners for three full days of informative sessions.

The deadline for submissions is September 7th, so submit your proposal today if you haven’t already. After the submission deadline, members of the SXSWedu community will be able to vote and comment on their favorite proposals via the PanelPicker.

If you would like to present on Edmodo, consider submitting under the “Social and Mobile Learning” or “Gaming, Learning and Development” categories.  In addition, here are some tips for a creating successful proposal:

  • Choose a topic that you are passionate about that is also timely, relevant, or of general interest to other educators and attendees
  • Come up with a catchy title that grabs people’s attention, while providing a good idea of what the presentation is about
  • Write a concise, yet thorough description of what you will be covering
  • Make your presentation interactive by including multimedia or demos (potentially of your Edmodo class!) and mention your use of these tools in your proposal
