How Important is it to Teach Digital Citizenship Skills in the Classroom?
- 98% of teachers who responded said they feel it is “extremely important” or “important.”
How Many Edmodo Teachers Taught Digital Citizenship in 2012?
We asked those same teachers if they taught Digital Citizenship skills in their classroom this school year. While recognized as an important subject to teach:

- 19 % said they plan to
- 10% say it was taught by another teacher
- 14% do not plan to teach it
Register for the Digital Citizenship in 2013 Webinar
Please join Edmodo and Common Sense Media on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 to learn how to use the Digital Citizenship Starter Kit, a series of activities you can complete in Edmodo to help start the conversation with students about Internet safety, cyberbullying, information literacy, and more. In this free webinar, we’ll take you through the contents of the starter kit and help you learn how to make the most of the Digital Citizenship Community on Edmodo.
