- 98% of teachers who responded said they feel it is “extremely important” or “important.”
How Many Edmodo Teachers Taught Digital Citizenship in 2012?
We asked those same teachers if they taught Digital Citizenship skills in their classroom this school year. While recognized as an important subject to teach:
- 57% teachers said they taught it
- 19 % said they plan to
- 10% say it was taught by another teacher
- 14% do not plan to teach it
Register for the Digital Citizenship in 2013 Webinar
Please join Edmodo and Common Sense Media on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 to learn how to use the Digital Citizenship Starter Kit, a series of activities you can complete in Edmodo to help start the conversation with students about Internet safety, cyberbullying, information literacy, and more. In this free webinar, we’ll take you through the contents of the starter kit and help you learn how to make the most of the Digital Citizenship Community on Edmodo.
This is a great way to kick off the new year and help your students become good digital citizens in 2013!

My students will have good digital citizenship through edmodo.
Webinars are difficult for our small rural school staff when we are teaching all day and working with specific groups of students during after-school hours both in organized sports and volunteer organizations. Is there another way to acquire this information?
It will be recorded and available at http://help.edmodo.com/teachers/webinars/
Thank you for that information. It is easier for me too to watch webinars from recordings,. due to my schedule
Thank you Margaret for asking this question. I’m in the same boat as you: rural area, teaching, and multiple after school obligations.
