Edmodo email notifications help you keep tabs on conversations going on in your Edmodo groups, incoming connections requests, alerts, and more. You can enable email notifications for specific groups or activities so you only receive emails for the things that are most important to you.

New updates

In an effort to make these emails more valuable to you, we’re updating the “Replies” notification to provide you with  more information, including:

  • Subject line – Includes the name of the student or teacher who replied to your post and the group in which it was posted
  • Body of email – Initial post, the individual reply, and the number of total replies to the post

Example of new “Replies” notification

We know how busy things can get so we hope these improvements will help you get the information you need to quickly and effectively prioritize your time. Check out the example below and let us know what you think of the new email notifications in the comments!

Note: The new email notifications are being rolled out over the next few weeks. This means some users may see the new updated version immediately, while others will not see them for a couple weeks.

This looks like a great update that will help me monitor conversations. Thanks!

I’m really excited about the improvements to the replies. One question: How “searchable” will these notifications be? I always have a difficult time going back and finding responses, which can be critical when a parent has a question during a parent-teacher conference, for instance.
