UPDATE: 11:15amEST/8:15amPST: Looks like our datacenter hosts Amazon EC2 have had a few issues this morning which affect Edmodo and a number of other services that use them. We expect these issues will be resolved quickly and will keep you updated.
UPDATE: 1:15pmEST/10:15amPST: Amazon EC 2 is still working on their issues, but we’ve made some updates that are allowing us to provide more reliable service as they get things fixed at AEC2

11:09 AM PDT A number of people have asked us for an ETA on when we’ll be fully recovered. We deeply understand why this is important and promise to share this information as soon as we have an estimate that we believe is close to accurate. Our high-level ballpark right now is that the ETA is a few hours. We can assure you that all-hands are on deck to recover as quickly as possible. We will update the community as we have more information.

Thank you for getting back to us so quickly. I will share this with the students who will be quite amazed that there are live humans aware of and working on the problem.
