Dustin Blaha, Staff Development Coordinator for schools in the Rapid City area of South Dakota, recently shared this touching story; one that illustrates how Edmodo can be used to help each student find their voice.
Watch as Mr. Blaha introduces us to Mrs. Price, a fourth grade teacher who integrated Small Groups into her classroom and created an environment where one of her shy students who wasn’t sure if he belonged—felt safe enough to express himself. Through Edmodo’s simplest features, posts and replies, Mrs. Price soon saw his classmates offering him their support and friendship.

Mrs. Price hopes you’ll share the video with your network and inspire other teachers to experience the power of Edmodo for themselves. Though she considered herself technologically-challenged when she first got started, Mrs. Price now knows that Edmodo is so much more than a tool that helps teachers understand the digital language of today’s students; it also allows students to speak up for themselves and to each other.
