This blog series lets you get to know the people at Edmodo. From what we do at the company, to some of our firsts and favorites, sneak a peek as we get personal.
David spent his early childhood in Costa Rica, until his mother moved the family to the U.S. in 1948 to protect them from the Costa Rican Revolution. Although he made the move as a seven year old and received his education on American soil, David claims it’s been so long since he attended elementary school that he can’t recall where he went. He does, however, remember graduating from University High School in Los Angeles, then transferring from Caltech to obtain a degree in literature from Reed College.
As an iOS developer for Edmodo’s mobile team since March 2011, you’ll now find David strumming away at home in Palo Alto, California. David’s love of the guitar occupies much of his downtime when he’s not diagnosing bug fixes for Edmodo’s mobile apps, but when he does hang up the guitar to work, he devotes his attention to ensuring the Edmodo iPad and iPhone apps are running smoothly.
