If you’re using Edmodo Snapshot, you already know how easy it is to assess and gather student data on Common Core progress. Looking for a quick way to find relevant, standards-aligned resources that can help you close learning gaps? The search is over.
With a new Resource Recommendations feature, you can now use Snapshot to actually help students learn and do better (and save yourself time in the process). Just like the micro-assessments Snapshot creates, its recommended resources are free, standards-aligned, automatically surfaced for you, and:
- Designed for students who are borderline or behind in a specific standard
- Diversified to include a mix of activities, games, lesson plans, and more
- Easy to browse, preview, and assign—right from your Snapshot Reports page
Resources for TEKS and SOL
Currently, the recommendations within Snapshot focus on Common Core. As a library of content for Texas and Virginia standards is being built into Snapshot, educators can find TEKS- and SOL-aligned resources using Edmodo Search, or through the Discover page. All you have to do is search for a standard (e.g. TEKS 2.a) or standard-related keyword, then click “Resources” on the left-hand side of the results page. The more you search, the more personalized your recommendations will become.
The best part? Because Edmodo is a social learning network, you can trust that the resources you find are being tried and tested by other teachers. And rest assured that what’s proving successful for them is being recommended to you.
