How can educators and organizations creatively use the Edmodo platform to facilitate globally connected teaching and learning? On September 15th, we’re asking Edmodo users to show what they know and collaborate with others online. Global Collaboration Day is an opportunity for experienced global educators to help more students and teachers to connect virtually.Blog_Thumbnail_GCD

Edmodo is a global education network that helps connect all learners with the people and resources needed to reach their full potential. That’s why we are proud and excited to partner with the Global Education Conference Network to host the second annual Global Collaboration Day. Edmodo educators should consider designing and/or attending Global Collaboration Day events as we believe that we are the ideal platform for global collaboration.

On September 15th, 2016, educators and organizations will host of variety of globally connected teaching and learning events in their own time zones for students, pre-service teachers,  in service educators, parents, and organization leaders.  Activities will range from Twitter chats to webinars to mystery location calls to assorted asynchronous projects. Hosts are designers of activities and can select a variety of digital tools to support their learning goals. Take a look at a few posted events that are using Edmodo for inspiration.
