Involve your students with the election by having them vote on Edmodo!
Edmodo has just launched a new feature for this November: #StudentsVote!
Did you know that Nickelodeon’s “Kids Pick the President” has correctly predicted the presidential election 6 out of 7 times since 1988? Students have been involved and engaged with elections, federal and local issues for years. Your students may not be of age to vote in elections, but they can still make their voice heard on Edmodo. Encourage civil discourse around the presidential election by having students vote for the presidential candidate of their choice and then talk about the consequences of the result, or use #StudentsVote to lead into other classroom activities focused on the election.
Students can only vote once and only for one candidate.
Teachers will be receiving email notifications when their students vote and can award Edmodo badges to voting students.
